Bevor der Startschuss zum eigentlichen Highlight fällt, steht aber noch vom 3. August bis 18. August das WCOOP Boot Camp auf dem Turnierplan.
Hier werden insgesamt 69 Events jeweils in einer High- und einer Low-Variante ausgetragen und dabei über $9 Millionen an Preisgeldern garantiert.
Neben exotischen Varianten wie Razz, Badugi oder Eight Game werden natürlich sehr viele NLHE-Events angeboten.
Höhepunkte sind zweifellos die beiden Main Events mit einem Startgeld von $109 (Low) und $1.050 (High), die am 17. August starten und $600.000 bzw. $400.000 Preisgeld garantieren.
Zum WCOOP Boot Camp gehört aber auch der Trainingsaspekt. Zu diesem Zweck hat sich PokerStars mit BBZ Poker zusammengetan, wo die PokerStars Ambassadors Lex Veldhuis, Ben „Spraggy“ Spragg, Fintan Hand und Parker Talbot ihr Spiel verbessern.
Am 1. August, 8. August und 15. August gibt das Team auf Discord kostenlose Trainingssessions, bei denen man sogar etwas gewinnen kann.
